表演开始了，第一个节目是我们全班同学表演的古诗诵读。同学们声音洪亮，背得有声有色，赢得了老爷爷老奶奶们热烈的掌声。我左顾右盼，看见有一个老奶奶竟然激动的哭了起来。接下来，最重要的环节到了，那就是——给爷爷奶奶们戴红领巾。
我接过了赵老师递给我的红领巾，来到了一位老爷爷的面前，给他戴上了红领巾。当时，我特别激动，也特别紧张。我想：老爷爷看见我给他戴上红领巾，一定会很高兴吧!想完，我赶紧给老爷爷戴红领巾，费了九牛二虎之力，终于把红领巾整整齐齐的戴在了老爷爷的脖子上。我看了看老爷爷的表情，只见他一脸严肃，从他的脸上看不出一丝喜悦。
伴随着美妙的音乐《友谊地久天长》，今天的表演就结束了。我们全班同学和爷爷奶奶们合了影，就要两人一组的把老人们送回房间了。我和好朋友陈梓琪结合成一组，搀扶着一位满脸笑容、慈祥的老奶奶，和她一起回到了房间，准备帮她打扫卫生。我们跟着老奶奶来到了三楼，走廊里养了许多盆花，显得特别鲜艳，特别漂亮。
老奶奶不急不慢地掏出了钥匙，打开了房门，里面是一间小屋子，虽然小，但生活用具很齐全，床、电视、柜子、沙发……都有。我和陈梓琪反应很快，赶紧拿出了准备好的抹布，把抹布蘸了点儿水，就开始用力地擦每一件东西。老奶奶特别关心我们，总是对我们说：“哎呀，别干活了，你们休息一会儿吧!”可是我们依然要擦东西。不一会儿，屋子就被我们擦得干干净净、焕然一新。
活干完了，我们就陪老奶奶聊起天来。陈梓琪关心地问老奶奶：“老奶奶，您小时候生活的怎么样呀?”我猜测道：“您一定生活得很苦吧!”“那好，我就给你们讲一讲我小时候的故事吧!因为我是家中的老大，所以，好多活都交给我干，比如：做饭、洗衣服等等。那可真是苦着呢……”老奶奶边讲，边用手比划着。
我们认真地听着老奶奶的一言一语。正当我们听得入迷时，突然听见广播在喊：“四年级一班的同学请注意，赶紧到大门口集合。”老奶奶很不舍得让我们走，我和陈梓琪想留下来，再陪老奶奶一会儿。这时，广播又开始喊开了。我们依依不舍地向老奶奶道了别，就赶快向大门口跑去。很多同学都已经在那里等候了，同学们都你一言我一语地说着去老人房间的经过。
转眼间，我们就要告别敬老院了。回头望，那温馨的敬老院，渐渐消失在我的视线中。虽然已经离开敬老院，可是，我的心却仿佛还在敬老院里，在老奶奶的身旁。
通过这次活动，我学会了去关爱老人。敬老院的老人们都非常孤独，非常寂寞，整天都没人陪伴，没人陪他们说话聊天，也没有人关心他们。以后，我要经常陪爷爷奶奶说话，让孤独的人变少，让欢乐更多。
